Unfortunately, no "hit" on SRS.

after a bit of googling I determined that SRS refers to SPRINGFIELD RESEARCH SERVICE, what does a "hit" denote and what sort of information is available? I assume information is only available for Springfield Armory rifles? 03, and 1917, is that all? thanks in advance!
