Default How about another Military Match this September?

Would anyone be interested in another Military Match on September 6? We could have it after the leg match. How about this......If you shoot the leg match I'll let you shoot the military match for $5.00? Just trying to get in another military match in and maybe bost participation in the the leg match. What do you guys think? Would you attend both matches?

Here is another one. Would anyone like to attend a clinic in the afternoon on September 5? It would be more like a question and answere session where we could work on and or talk about positions, equipment and match procedures. Any interest?

Let me know.

Thanks,

Tom

I will shoot the military match if you have it. I would shoot the leg match if somebody can loan me a suitable rifle and ammo at cost. My service rifle quest is still on hold for this year due to other unforeseen expenses. Could I shoot a leg match with an unofficial "furren" rifle otherwise?

The club has 4 M1s, 2 AR-15s, and the state association has 5 AR-15 that can be loaned out at no cost except the ammo at $.50 per round. A leg match is 50 shots so it would cost $25 to use one of these rifles. So with the entry fee it would be a total of $45.

By the way, the M1 and M14/M1A are still allowed in leg matches. What do you guys think?

Sounds good. Definitely interested in a loaner AR then.

Tom----I would be there to shoot the Military Match on the 6th of Sept.
I have never shot a "Leg Match" but would be willing to give it a try.

Doesn't Gopher have a .22 match that same day? Was thinking of heading to that. Would like to do a CMP match. Never done a leg match before.

Didn't look like there was mice interest so I never got a match submitted to the CMP. But you guys could still shoot the leg match. Would anyone be interested in a clinics Friday a afternoon? It would give you a chance to try out an AR. I got a guy that would be willing to put it on.

Cannot make the clinic on Fri (work). Will make the leg match (1st time)---what are the rules for the leg match? Will be using a M-14.

Lost too many days to rain this week. Project is behind, I have to work Sat and possibly Sunday. Mandatory, no match for me.
