Default QSC XTC - Clinic - Range 3Jun 30 Jul 1, 2012

http://www.quanticoshootingclub.com/calendar2.php

Quantico next weekend, either Sat or Sun, there is a XTC clinic which anyone can show up and the club will take you through 200, 300 and 600 yd course of fire. Besides only costing 10 bucks for non members, you get to shoot on a world class range with marked targets (we all take turns pulling in the pits) and you walk away with your rifle sorted out (and loads sorted out) at 200,300 and 600. Its run with increasing shooting skills in mind and anyone (novice or not) can show up and really have an opportunity to run their rifle and lock down sight dope and increase shooting skills. Bring 80 rounds. Guys there go out of their way to help spot and share experience.

Neither does the base allow any CommBloc weapons on their ranges.

Just a note concerning shooting aboard MCB Quantico with the Quantico Shooting Club (QSC)...

Since this is not a sanctioned match, the event is only open to QSC members and guests of members, these events are not open to the general public. Additionally, guests may not bring their own firearms aboard MCB Quantico unless they have filled out a "QSC Qualification to Posses Firearms and Ammunition" form (see QSC website) and is on file a minimum of 5 days before the event.

The COMM Bloc restriction has been lifted but since this is a service rifle event, it is not relevant to the event.

Bob,

Not my event but these are typically done for practice as a lead up to the regionals and nationals.

Jim and John are pretty accomodatiing so talk with them on the line and I don't think they'll have a problem.

Thanks. I'm probably going to lay out of this one anyway. It looks like it will be reminiscent of the '86 or '87 Regional and Interservice when the ambulances were running a regular shuttle service between WTB and the hospital with heat casualties.
