Default Old Marlin 4x Micro Vue scope ?

Hi Guys,

Someone gave me a old (3/4 inch tube) 4x Marlin Micro Vue scope made in the USA so "WE" know it's a oldie! It's a perfect match for a nice old Mossburg 44 US I found a while back.
It's still sharp for a 50+ year old scope. I can't find any instructions on line.

I was able to free the knurled adjustable rear lens objective & brass ring with little problem.

The front (parrelex adjuster?) seems to be frozen. I THINK it's adjustable too???? I did not force it!
The (front) also has a brass ring & knurling like the back. Do any of you know, if it is fixed in place?
No need to try & fix something that is not broken.

Thanks for any help,
broom

I do not think the objective is adjustable for parallax. The brass ring is just decoration.

Hi GGaskill,

You most likely correct!
It did not appear to move when I applied gentle force to it. I'll do some more looking on the net. I'm a old guy & don't recall the front being adjustable. All the older guys that knew about older rifles & scopes, have gone to the big range in the sky.

I have the proper Mossburg mount for the 44US rifle, as soon as I get a chance. I'll mount it.

BIG THANKS for your reply,
point6
