Outdoor Limited is literally the next town over to me.
I was speaking with one of the bosses one day, and he said that much of the "Police" ammo that ends up on the surplus market was never delivered.
When they are forced to "take" it because of the contract, it ships out from the manufacturer to the sellers.
It usually has never left the factory.
I wouldn't worry about this stuff being 'bad'.

They always love it when one of departments changes to a new calibre.

I haven't had any luck with the soft point ammo feeding in the M1 Carbine. The soft lead tip always seems to drag going up the ramp and causing a malfunction. I've tried many different types in several rifles. The second I switch back to FMJ, the problem is always fixed.

The rebate seems to only apply if you spend $275 or more.
Am I wrong?

Did you look at the deer camp cash rebate? All I see is $5 rebate per box with a maximum of $50 per household. I cut the upc out of each box and mailed mine yesterday. The ammo had to be purchased by 12/31/2018. I'll see if it goes through. I've never had a problem with federal rebates, I've always got them. If the soft point won't feed in the carbine that will be my excuse to the wife to buy a Ruger Blackhawk. Lol

Thanks.
I am buying to use in a Marlin Lever Action 30 Carbine which doesn't like my USGI ammo, which must be too hot because each round will not extract, and I tried 3 different Marlin rifles that I have.

I would think This ammo would work well in a Ruger Blackhawk in 30 Carbine.

Ruger Blackhawk: I agree. I would expect that your Ruger would not be ammo sensitive, and based on that you might find USGI 30 carbine ammo a little less costly but not appropriate for hunting since it is not softpoint.
My ammo arrived in factory boxes that had special labels for Israeli purposes.
It will be end of Feb before I can try it in my Marlin carbine.

GOOD LUCK with this ammo in the Ruger. I tried LC-sorry, VERY hard to eject, Aguila-sorry, VERY hard to eject. Two that DO eject with no problem are: Fiocchi and Armscore.

And....yes, I sent the Ruger to have Ruger 'check it out' only to have it returned stating NO PROBLEM. Tried LC and Aguila again and....NOPE. Finally found the 'good stuff'.

GOOD LUCK

I got an email last week saying my rebate was approved and Will be delivered in 4-6 weeks. So fingers crossed! I saw it listed at midway USA for like .57 cents per round, so the outdoor limited was a good deal
