You did great. But don't leave us hanging,tell us what the parts are. What is stamped on the top of the bolt, the op-rod,the trigger housing,front of hammer, side of barrel and the windage and elevation knobs?

Here's what I could find:

Bolt: TRW ZB
Barrel: TRW 7790190 4 63 BG
OP Rod: 7267064-2 w/SA underneath
Hammer: 66118 55460008
Trigger Group: 7267030-HR-N
Sights: WCE/WRIGHT
Safety: "H"

Op rod is commerical, everything else is USGI. If it was me I would put a TRW op rod and trigger group in it and have as close to a TRW M14 as can be had. The rear sight is correct for TRW.

Nice rifle. Cant tell from the picture but does it have a bayonet lug?

You hammer is Winchester and the triger group is HRA.

TRW parts are not hard to track down, but they seem to carry a premium. If you were able to get a TRW triger group and hammer along with a TRW op rod, it would certinally increase the desireabiltiy of the rifle. Just as TRW parts carry a premium, so would an all TRW rifle!
