Default M2 Ball sold in clips in bandoleers

Any insight on the best place to score sealed tins of 30-06 M2 ball in clips in bandoleers in a large quantity? Non-corrosive and decent quality at a good price is my goal...

thanks!

They show up in the marketplace ammo section of the forums here. You could place a want to buy add in the proper section of the marketplace as well. Other than that, get lucky on a local deal, gun show find ect. Once in a while you can find some that's not outrageously priced on gunbroker. Good luck!

Good deals can be found...but I would suspect you won’t find USGI non corrosive ammo for anything less than 75 cents a round. On USGI enblocs...even more!!

Not too long ago Gun Broker had a 512 round ammo can of USGI National Match in enblocs that sold for $512.00. It's not a spam can but it was in the correctly marked USGI ammo can if that matters.

If you're not set on spam cans you could buy the clips/bandoleers separately, find a good deal on some M2 spec commercial ammo or loose M2 and put the clipped ammo in cans

Is your plan to use this ammo, or just something to have perhaps for display?

I plan to use it, just like the concept of buying spam cams already loaded with enblocs and bandoleers... if the price is right it obviously has some advantages!

I just tried PMing you but you don’t accept PM’s? I have 4 sealed spam cans 2 full cases if you’re in the area of MA anytime before spring. I could ship them too, I suppose.

I opened and stripped 10 of the spam cans, I personally would not recommend just taking them from the can and putting them in a rifle. The rounds and enblocs are covered with a dry preservative. Also the rounds should be wiped and inspected for corrosion since they have been in there a LONG time. The enblocs generally need just a light soak and scrub in mineral spirits to get the preservative off.
