Default CMP may close this section of the board?

Defaut[/B]lt Parts/Sales Forum

CMP will potentially take down the parts and sales forum due to discord and discontent from our constituents. Please advise if you would like to keep this forum.
Let the mods & "GhostInTheMachine" know You want this section of the board kept open.
It's just part of life that we can't please everyone.
I don't think I have seen many people posting, that were unhappy with their deals!
Ask for good pictures IN ADVANCE of any sales & only deal with KNOWN buyers or sellers!

That was discussed a while ago because of whining and complaining about deals gone bad. Everyone seems to be getting along and on their best behavior lately.

I'm curious what happened that caused this warning or was it built up over time?
I did notice a WTS posting recently(OP deleted) where a poster out of nowhere attacked the OP about his font size and color, the price he was asking and told him to take it to auction...the poster was banned.

Hi Shomway,

I'm sure "WE"know people that would complain, if you gave them a new car for FREE!

First of all the CMP is NOT responsible in anyway for any buy or sell deal's!
They should be COMMENDED for banning slugs & out right THIEVES QUICKLY!
The deal is ONLY between the buyer & seller, any issues should be settled that way. They have other sources to turn to like the USPS postal police, A T F., Credit card company's & Local police!
No need to involve the CMP AT ALL!

Sure, deals go wrong & if that were the case. I would think the seller would give them back their money, less postage! Many major sellers have a Three day return policy from delivery date- or it's yours!

This is the FIRST place I come to look for good parts at a fair price & GOOD INFORMATION ! I hope this issue is resolved soon.

Be well,
broom

I have posted on the other thread that it should remain open.

It facilitates the mission of the CMP to have a free flow of parts between both collectors and shooters. Even if a person is only a collector they can serve as a source of parts for those who do shoot. A collector can also serve as a source of cash for a shooter who has excess parts but needs funds for travel, ammunition or other parts to continue shooting.

Please keep these classifieds open.

I hope it stays open. I can do without the discord and discontent that seems to have gone rampant the last year or so. And it is by no means limited to the for sale forum.
