Hi JJ! Looks like a great schedule! We have our Gaylord M1 for Vets match this saturday. My question is this: Is it common to the rules to have 80 sec rapid prone? I thought we were running 70 sec?
Thanks Gary Russell

Read the CMP rule book. Mixed line is 80 seconds. If you have several relays and one is all m1's and some are mixed--what do you do and maintain fairness?? Also, your M1 scores are going to be reported along with other club matches who did what?? I'd like to see 70 seconds just go away. Good Shooting.......

Thanks P. Yes now I remember 70 for all M1 and 80 if bolt guns mixed in. My problem remains finishing with 20 seconds remaining

I was happy with that 80 seconds Sunday at the Charlotte range. It was 11F, and in rapid sitting I messed up my Garand reload, the bullet moved forward and the clip popped back out and was stuck. With my numb fingers it probably took me 40 seconds to clear it, and I finished my last 8 shots in less than 20 seconds. I expected a total train wreck, but I only had 3 out of the black.

BTW, where were all you NC guys, afraid of the cold?

Yeah, we run 80sec. standard, due to about 25% are bolt gunners.

Man, sorry I missed the match in Charlotte.
