I must have gotten a grade 1 1/2 in that last batch as one of rifles I received was missing the magazine spring and follower. Fortunately, I had a set in my parts drawer so I didn't raise a fuss. The cracked stock kind of eliminates me from this round. With the $200 rifles, if you decided against reactivating it, in the end, you could end up with a good stack of parts, these, I don't know.

Guys I have a question about the Grade 2 rifles.
Having never done one of these, do you think it's worth trying?

Or would I be better just to buy a complete rifle.

I just retired and would love to have a 03 or 03A3

Having considerable experience with drill rifles; if they are as pictured, I would consider them a good value. Stocks and handguards can be repaired, virtually all of the receivers can be used and parts are available at reasonable prices. Good Shooting. ..

Wow. Where did they get 100 from? I didn't know they still had that many left over. Sadly though, they will require a few more parts to get them where they ought to be. I wish money wasn't so tight, because I would buy 4-5 of these and another Garand too. As it is, I am saving up so I can get another M1 in a month or two. As of 15:38 this afternoon only 91 left. They are going quick!

UPDATE: Still in the shop. This is getting beyond frustrating!!!

I don't think they are as a good as buy as the $200 ones. A decent stock and rear sight is worth $100. These would be perfect donors for an A4 though. Your going to ditch the stock and sight anyway

I shouldn't have stopped in this forum. Just ordered another drill rifle from Dupage.
