Thanks for the input. I don't care about time so much as not being able to pick one out. I'm cheap and my only option for picking one out myself is the more expensive special or sgs!!! I should get off my wallet ...

One of the things my granddaddy (who i speak of often on this forum) told me is...

"Son, guns are the only thing you can buy, use the hell out of, and retain its value. You can never go wrong buying guns. Or Fords."

While the jury is still out on the "Fords" part of that, I get what he's saying

Get off that wallet timfromohio!

No reason to wait for Wednesday given the current conditions. They are putting out the rifles as they finish them as often as they can.

Before, the Wednesday refresh was common and I am pretty sure happened most every week. Right now however, just not enough stock to keep the store filled. Get there as soon as possible and hope to pick from what's left, no matter the day.

I'll be waiting until Saturday if I go. In hindsight, I've never been disappointed when buying a quality item. I know that a special would be no exception! It's just when I look at what I got over the summer for $625 I consider chancing a mail order.

Based on the reports I've been getting from the mail orders on here... I would say it's worth the chance. Some guys are getting GREAT SG's out of Anniston by mail order

I don't have to worry about that.
My wife is an analog woman in a digital world.
She still doesn't know how to listen to her voice mail on her cell phone.

As for the CMP Specials or the Service Grade Specials go you can't go wrong. They are almost brand new rifles.
