I meant that historically the South Store has sometimes had higher daily limits or even no daily limit when compared to the two other stores. I wasn't saying that they would ever have allowed anyone to buy more than the stated daily or yearly limit.

There have been so many price increases lately that I've lost track. How much are Service and Field grade's going for at the stores now? 1500 miles, 60 gallons of gas, 10% tax, it adds up fast. He11, coffee alone for my son and I would be $50! I can pick up nice rifles at auction for 1.2-1.3k delivered. Had to pass on a beautiful H+R in great shape that went for $1025. Was bidding on an 50,xxx M-1a w/ GI parts and a Kreiger barrel that went over my limit. Figures.

SA/HRA $950

Thanks for the info, Tony. Doesn't make sense for me at those prices. I'll have to pick away at the auctions for the occasional deal.

I hope they'll put out a sign in book or something the night before....
asked Orest about it before never got an answer...
it'll keep the local motels and restaurants happy and keep the several dozen who show
up early from freezing!

Just a suggestion but I've picked up several nice rifles at decent prices simply by placing a WTB ad in this forum.

In the past when the weather is not the best I've heard of folks placing a lawn chair as being their place in line then stay in their vehicles/RV to sleep or stay warm and dry. It's an honor system type thing but never heard of it causing a issue.

Definitely not worth the ride for me…..and I am only 240 miles away, mostly interstate. And you can only purchase one rifle, if you can find one worth the bucks. It is a special event so maybe they’ll put out the best they have?

Excellent suggestion, Ronwall. I've bought quite a few things in the WTS section and made out very well. I'll keep me eyes open. I'm leary about the WTB section because of the scammers though. Enough thread drift by me. Dress warmly fellas. Nighttime temps forecast of 43 and 41.
