Default newest cmp......12/42 mixmaster

Just had to post this newest mixmaster I picked up this weekend from the CMP.... every part a keeper! (maybe) no pics yet

Receiver -SA sn 106266X light grey/green 75% lead dipped heal
Barrel - S - A - 12 - 42 TH 3 MZ 2.4 .301- pin gauge stops at 1/2 inch - unchromed ports matching grey/green
Gas Cylinder - wide base
Gas Cylinder Lock - beveled
Gas Cylinder Lock Screw - type 3, marked with P and hexagon.
Front Sight - SA
Clip Latch - type 2, unmarked.
Windage Knob - type 3,unmarked
Elevation Knob - type 4.
Rear Sight Base - punch marked wra
Rear Aperture - type 3, tracks.
Bolt - 28287-12SA,S - B7<>
Firing Pin - type 2.
Trigger Housing - 12-SA.
Trigger Guard - milled Q marked
Trigger - type 2, unmarked.
Hammer - 3 SA
Hammer Spring Plunger - type 2, no wings.
Hammer Spring Housing - type 2.
Safety - SA-11.
Op Rod - 6535382 HRA. brown 70%
Follower Rod - type 5, long fork, riveted.
Op Rod Catch - A marked
Follower Arm - beveled, punch marked.
Follower - type 2, wide tail, unmarked.
Bullet Guide - 48 and S marked
Lower Band - flat milled
Rear Hand Guard Band - type 3, stamped.
Stock 3/8 Non-Serif P minor dings, full of cosmoline

congrats on a nice origiona 1942 barreled reciever! That alone is a major score!!!

Wow!!! Congrats!!! One year post Pearl Harbor... I wonder where its been....

I would try to make it correct(IMHO). You can find the parts.

Wood and rear sight will be the hardest to find.
