Default What is this M1 carbine cartouche?

I have a Rockola stock that has a cartouche on the left side that i can not identify. It has the letters OGEK in a rectangular box. Does anyone know what that means?

The OGEK cartouche was used by Elmer Keith when he was an Inspector at the Ogden Arsenal in Utah.
EK is considered desirable by some collectors.

It means that carbine . . . or that STOCK, at least (maybe attached to a different carbine) . . . . went thru the Ogden, Utah, rebuilding facility.
