Default Original Military Gun Manuals - M1911, M1917 Revolver and 1898 Krag

Offered are a few more manuals from my collection. All prices include shipping in the US. No overseas sales. PayPal (friends/family or with you paying the fees), MO or check are fine for payment. First posted "I'll take it" wins. Thanks.

1. M1911A / M1911 Ordnance Maintenance manual. Dated September 1947 and is 60 pages in length. This isn't the common "basic field manual". This manual would of been used by armorers to completely disassemble the M1911 for repair/service. The binding it still tight, however it looks like something nibbled on the top left corner. Otherwise a solid manual for use. $SOLD.

2. M1917 Colt / Smith & Wesson Basic Field Manual. Dated October 20, 1941, it includes the laid in November 6, 1942 supplement. This is the basic field manual that would of been issued to soldiers. It has 92 pages in length and is bound in the harder to find "burnt red" cover. Some bends to the pages, but the binding is tight and there is no stained, torn or missing pages. A very solid manual all in all. $40.00

3. Lastly, this is a very rare 1898 dated manual for the Krag. Not many original Krag manuals are out there to begin with and the ones that are, tend to be dated 1901 or 1917. This one was published in 1898. Although at initial glance, the manual appears to be rough, it is actually very solid. 62 pages in length, not including 3 fold-outs.

The bad: There is a very old stain at the top and bottom portion as shown. Also something pretty sharp pierced the cover, which made an indent on the pages into the book. (up to about page 40). The staining on bottom corner of the cover bleeds into the pages up to about page 31. The stain on the top of the cover is contained just to the cover. There is approximately a 1 inch tear on the title page along the binding. Lastly, there is obviously some foxing and yellowing to the pages.

The good: The binding remains tight. No missing pages, weird smells or writing. Besides the staining on the bottom, the pages are all very solid. All three fold-outs are in great shape. All in all, a very solid manual for being almost 118 years old. I'll gladly take additional photos for any serious buyers. $40.00 (SOLD)
