Was there on Wednesday and there was two spots past the Bono curve that was down to one lane for paving. Minor delays that wasn't too bad.

Personally, skipping the Rt 2 exit off of 280 and taking the Woodville exit is a much better route. You come out just South of the construction at the 2nd curve. You also miss all of the red lights through Oregon and that long 45 / 50 mph stretch East of town.

The repaving work that they are doing on Rt.2 is just past the second curve. On Saturday there was no paving going on but the road surface has been etched for the black top so be aware that there might be a slight delay if the paving resumes.

As far as going through Oregon, by the time I hit the Micky D's I gotta pee...

I am still young, I don't even have to get up during the night... yet.

I plan to drive to the nationals each day from my place in Monroe. I hope that going through there at 0 dark 30 will minimize the slow downs and lane closures.
