Unhappy Two arrived

Well 2 service grade WWII just showed up.
Nice heal .That's about it.
64 HRA barrel and 53 SA on the other.

PUKE PUMPKIN birch stocks,No proof marks or cartouches.
I hope you all do better..

Not even a CMP cartouche? That means USGI depot replacement stocks (probably Overton) & the depot rebuild enthusiasts will conclude that you scored!

One is a SA 64 rebuild Etched on the leg.

So much for the "Best Ever" batch of M1's. That's why many people have simply stopped doing mail order altogether.

Too bad. It goes to show that the rifles we see in the forum are so small in number that there is no way to gage if this is really a "best ever batch" or not. It is just like flipping a coin, the next toss (or the next rifle) is completely random.
