p.s. I didn't keep track...I bought 3 different bolts before finding one to headspace that was the matching color. Bought a flip sight I didn't use, then two other type 3 rear sights, two different front sights, traded some stuff. Who knows what the final cost was?

p.m. sent.

Default Receiver build....

I thought i would share my NPM/U 4.34 million receiver build. I bought it is a stripped receiver, and wanted to try to build it is as correct as possible for fun. It took me 6 months to build. I slightly cheated as a I purchased a complete NPM/U carbine that is kinda close in serial range and just copied the parts as a guide. As this was a build and did not want to mislead anyone, I bought a new stock, I had Shuff stamp it, and brand it very deeply on the inside. The barrel is a Criterion. All other parts are NPM. It was reparked as most parts had no finish remaining. I did send in a data sheet with marked as a build.

Here is my Inland (from the first batch years ago). Has Underwood barrel (1 MW), complete Underwood trigger group, and most other parts New from wraps, (assorted makers). Has IO stock in new condition from "Collector Source" with not often seen "MR" cartouche, (Mount Ranier).

I have right at $625 in the NPM/U rifle listed above. Many parts were trades, and it is hard to put a price on the traded parts. Some were free from a friend! If I would have purchased everything, including the new barrel, new stock, and Shuff's labor it would be a little over a $1000.

I purchased parts from Numrich, Pophams (ElReno OK), Us Armory, and the forum here
