Default 21Nov Trip

Went up to the North Store for the first time today. There were 10-12 of us waiting when they opened up, mostly walk in's, and after doing the COVID scan and starting on the paperwork they started sending groups of us back. Being the first time visiting the store I had a bit of what I'd describe as Black Friday panic as I went back and forth on the 1903 racks, and finally settled down and in the end picked up a nice Remington 1903. After I got that sorted, I decided to check the A3's, and while I really never wanted one, I found a nice one after going through them all and bought that as well. I looked at some of the Garand's as well but wasn't in the market for one today, and since I knew I was buying ammo too, I decided not to give myself the temptation.

I have to admit I was tense on the drive up as they had said they had over 70 walk in's last Saturday, but everything went relatively smooth and as has been noted before the staff were great to work with. It was a great little adventure, and especially great getting the chance to get out of the home "office" for a while.

There were some, although I know at least two of them were sold and out the door while I was there. If your looking for one I’d say go up after the Thanksgiving weekend (as they’re closed next week) and see if there’s one you like.

Default N S stock

Anyone remember seeing any H&R Garands at the store. I might make a trip up if there's a chance of adding to the collection.

Thanks
