Outstanding Keith. I enjoyed shooting with you on lane 40, or was it 41? I seemed to have had trouble keeping that straight in prone slow.

Im amazed how you recovered from your feeding problem in prone rapid! And then went on to win the 3 gun!

Thanks Geoff. Always enjoy talking to you.

Yea....it just shows how "giving" we are to other people when we share our shots on the next guy's target!
Still can't believe that we do that.

Yea, that rapid was a train-wreck. Score turned out ok but felt lucky to just get all 10rds downrange.

I have mentioned your Enfield a couple of times since that match. What a great shooting rifle. I think you said you got it from your dad?

Keith

Yes, one of my Dad’s many Enfields. He had never fired this rifle, had a brand new barrel. It’s a 1942 No. 4 Mk I* made in Long Branch Ontario later upgraded to the Mk 2 action (circa 1950). It originally had a 1/4 MOA click windage and elevation adjustable target sight (Dad was planning to compete with it) but I had to remove the target sight and install the original type rear sight which is 1 MOA click adjustable for elevation only.

I’d like you to shoot this rifle sometime Keith, I bet you could nail the x ring for 10 shots.

I'm afraid I'd like it too much and would wind up on my "must have" list.

DANGER!!!! Once bit by the Lee Enfield bug, there is no going back!

I’m just glad that not many here in the US realize how great this rifle is!
