Default Today's episode of pimp my 1911

I'll start off by saying that I thought several minutes before deciding where to post this on the forum. If you get the pitchforks and torches out I'll understand.

First this is NOT a CMP 1911. This is one that I picked up last Christmas on an AZ trip. Mostly Remington with a post-war barrel

Second the "thing" that is on it came from the mother-in-law. I had a birthday last month and she always tries to find that "perfect" gift.

Mfg is here .........

Anyway .............

That was my first thought as well , but it is kinda growing on me. I have never been good with any of the two handed pistol and flashlight methods.

Then there is the mother-in-law factor. For those that are married KNOW you have to provide pictures of the gift being used.

Not my thing but since it isn't permanent, you can switch back any time. Kinda reminds me of those mg-42 kits you could get for 10/22's back in the 80's. Enjoy your new acquisition.
