Default Mailer boxes for Stock Sets

Hello,

I have been trying for quite some time to find the mailer boxes the CMP uses to ship stock sets in. The dimensions are 32" x 6" x 2 1/2". Uline doesn't have them in those dimensions, and no other source I can find has mailers of this size.

Can you possibly identify the manufacture of these boxes?

Thanks,

Doug

Doug, I bought a bunch of longer ones from U-Line before we moved and for shorter items, cut the boxes and sometimes took the box and doubled them.

The ones you show look very heavy duty - the uline ones I bought were not as tough looking, BUT were totally useful for the move (Penn to Washington state)

I would love to know too as I have looked for some time.

Participating in a gun buyback program because you think criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbor has too many kids.

more than likely they are custom made for them . Would need to buy in large quantity for custom boxes

That's what I was thinking. But I just thought I'd ask. Sometimes the answers to these questions is something like, "Oh..just call Bob in Birmingham and he'll sell you a lot for a good price."

Know what I mean?

I have a bunch of excess stocks I need to sell off and I want to pack them as professionally as possible when I ship them. I can't believe that even the "custom" sites won't give you a box in these dimensions.

You can get custom made sizes but have to be in large quantites.
U-Line makes other boxes that work fine for stocks .Look at the 6x6 x sizes

Yeah, the 32x6x6 are my fall back if I can't find the others. But I'm just that anal. I want the *perfect* box.

By the way, I thought this would be the site to get what I want. You can by 25 at a time.

https://packwire.com/

But the longest mailer they'll allow is 25".

FWIW Dupage mails their stocks in a mighty fine box for the job. 3x7x35 with the nice little flaps that tuck inside the box itself. A stock and both handguards wrapped in bubble wrap is the perfect fit. They're good about answering their calls, perhaps they would sell you some.

That's a good idea. I bought a few of their stocks and their box is nearly identical to the CMP.

Try golf club boxes, just trim for length. Available at all UPS stores.
