That accurately describes how these are sold, except they may appear in any of, or all of the three stores.

Thank you. I live in Tallahassee so it's not that far but would hate to drive up there and come home empty handed. My quest for an 03A3 goes on.

Sure would be nice if CMP could come up with a better way to allow everyone an equitable chance to purchase one of the 1903a3s. This hit or miss proposition at the stores just doesn't seem right. I've driven hundreds of miles just to find that they only put out a few that had been snapped up. Then find out later that they held back some that were put out later. Does that seem OK?

I'm afraid it does. There's thousands of people all over the country that would love a CMP bolt rifle, but unless they can get to the store at just the right time, it ain't going to happen. The good thing is, it's not the only place to acquire one.

It would be nice if they brought some to the travel games at least.

why not make it mail order only and fill the orders "first come first serve" as the rifles become available. Most will not mind waiting 6 months/a year or more to get one.

For me, it's the thrill of the hunt and actually seeing what your buying. There has never been a time I didn't come home with something nice. It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but you just can't put it down. In January I was lucky enough to pick up an IHC SG with original barrel, stock, op rod, trigger assembly, and most of the internals. I about fell over in the store. If it hadn't been for my wife telling me to go back later in the day, after the morning rush, I would have missed out. Plus, the smell of cosmoline in the morning. . . it just doesn't get any better than that!
