So, what is the current policy on buying slings? The last time I visited the store I was told the policy was "buy one rifle and you can buy one sling."

The NEW sling policy is you may purchase slings without purchasing a rifle and the limit is a reasonable amount. I have heard the limit of reasonable is five slings, but I have seen nothing posted officially. Good luck....

Based on your report from yesterday, I picked up a "MRT OCT 1965" web sling this morning for $11 OTD. Perfect for my 3.5 million SA Garand with receiver leg marked SA 10-65; looks like somebody bagged it way back then to wait for me to buy it today...... perfect! Tom, you da man!
