Default South Store and Range store

I snagged the Winchester with the Red River stock and all the wood is really nice. It has a Winchester Barrel also. Sept-Oct of 42 rifle that has a nice finish. Bobby was a Great help today, big thanks to him. Great Guy! I also got to speak with Tom for a minute also. Nothing much special but I did pick up a Mark I 1903 drill rifle also. It was a shame to see one of the Drill rifles have a 4-37 barrel, pretty rare barrel date. The chrome Smith Corona 1903a3 was still there but a little rough for me.
Even though the older slings are bagged by dates and are a few dollars more it helps you narrow down what you want much faster. There were also some drill slings, some white ones and even a blue one with chrome hardware.
I also went out to the Range Store and they had 8 IHC Field grades and 3 IHC Standard Grades. Most had IHC barrels but most all had hackberry stocks. No GI wood. They had about 29 specials behind the counter and most all of them were also IHC's. I think I saw a couple of Springfields, maybe 2-3. No really serial numbers that stood out as anything special.
All in all still a fun day!

Did they sell the last 03? I noticed it was tagged as a M1 and they took it to the back to retag it.

Got my IHC and one of the other 03 drills.

Out of curiosity, are WIN-13's marked as such on the tags?

If you're shopping for one it might help to know the serial number range that makes it a "Win-13"....1,601,150 to 1,640,4xx. If you didn't know already.

If you take a rifle to the counter the store will let you take the stock off the rifle so you could also look at the receiver. A Win-13 will say such on the right side leg. Everyone including CMP makes mistakes so don't go by just a hangtag, always check the serial and receiver leg. The rifle in the below pic did not say Win-13 on the hangtag.
