Default H&R 12 bolt disassembly?

Hi All,

I want to add some jeweling on the bolt of my H&R 12.
The directions on the H&R don't have any info on how to take the bolt apart!
I have a parts diagram of the bolt.

Thought it would be a good idea to ask FIRST!

It appears I have to knock out a pin on the cocking piece part #58 .

To do that I think I would have to hold it securely in a padded vise to carefully remove it with out it falling on the floor.
Am I correct? Is there a better way? The bolt appears to have never taken apart.

Thanks for any help,
broom

Hi strangms,

Holy COW! The file (32pages) for the bolt is bigger then the factory manual!
Just to save time, can I ask you if you have a file for the trigger unit?

Sir, you SAVED me lots of problems, as I only was seeing half the operation in my little mind!

Thank you for your help,
broom
