Whoa, I hadn't seen this. The history and evolution of this bayonet from pre-ww1 British Pattern 13 to Vietnam-era US trench shotgun is fascinating.

I'm going in for a copy!

I have a copy. It is a meticulous book, and well worth the price. Additionally Mr.Morrison is a first class gentleman. I wouldn't hesitate!

It covers development of the rifles, bayonet, Use by the U.S. in both world wars and beyond, and information for collectors. Lots of photos and tables. It is 390 pages (not counting the bibliography and appendix) of solid information.

If you have an interest in the P13, Model of 1917, or M1917 bayonet and the rifles and trench guns the affix to you need this book.

How exactly did you make contact with them to order? I have gone to the link 3 times requesting information regarding ordering the book and have yet to receive a response.
