Default Marking on my gas plug

I have a poppet valve gas plug that came on my FG, SN 3,19x,xxx. The only marking anywhere on it is the letter O on the face of it. Was this a post war upgrade or was this possibly the original that got put on it in 10/44?

Default Poppet Gas Screw

Your rifle should have came with a poppet valve gas screw.
The O is for Henry Owens Co. and could have been original to your rifle.

Rolling Thunder's sticky thread "SA Markings Chart: SA 5.30 & 5.89M" shows most of the rifles he has logged in those blocks have a O marked plug but RT went on to state that "it's not specific only to these SA serial ranges." Scott Duff stated in his red WW2 Garand book that an O marked plug "may" have been produced during WW2. The below chart has been posted many times in this forum so I will repost.
