Default Bipod question

What is a basic AR15 bipod for display?

(My Garand bipod is NFG for an AR )

I have taken a side trip into the ARs and have been gathering SP!s and want to keep one on my man cave table for display.

Just an example, they are around for less money than listed in this link. It's just the first link I ran across.

For instance, at Numrich/Gun Parts Corp., among others:






IIRC, the pouch on the bipod case is for cleaning gear, which was an after thought in the rollout of the M-16.

I bought the one above from Numrich, aka Gunpartscorp, a while ago. It is listed as XM3 Bipod on the case. It will not fit a heavy barrel, but will fit the grenade launcher cut out on the AR15 M4. I am thinking this will fit your SP1.

The one I purchased from them does not appear to a reproduction.
