Not necessarily in that order, and not nearly a comprehensive list.
I would like to get a prewar. Any idea how much the premium on one of those is?

It can get out of hand. I now have 6 Garands, 12 M1 carbines, 15 ARs, 4 1903s and 2 Model 1917s and I'm always selling and buying something else it seems

I would recommend some sort of shooting event. Maybe a match? Try your hand at that. Literally then and there will you look at your rifles differently. I know I did.

I've been looking at the Appleseed here which once you do the .22lr standard course, you can qualify for the 400 yard with M1 course. So, yeah, definitely on my list. And your right perhaps shooting it competitively will give me a different look at it all. And then its time for a NM, which I've always wanted. Thanks. I now feel inadequate.

Money spent on firearms, ammunition and related accessories is much better, and wiser, than wasting it on beer, junk food and excess electronic crap.

Started out buying a 2,46M Garand from a Calguns forum member, that got me hooked. Now I have 2 Garands, 2 M1 Carbines, a Smith Corona 03A3, and a 1918 Colt 1911-WWII AA rebuild. Overseas with the Navy right now, trying to find the Lost Ark of Garands in Korea hahaha. plan on resuming my quest when I get home this Summer

Well if your thinking of a Gas Trap, think in the neighborhood of 40 K.
