Default SWFA SS 10X42 Tactical 30mm mil-dot 1/4 clicks.

Just mounted the SWFA on one of my XM21 6.5 Creedmoor Bula rifles. There is 3/16" clearance over the handguard using Leupold low GRW rings.
Notice the Winchester op rod from a CMP kit as well as a CMP supplied stock.
Gosh I love these things.

I'm a fan of their scopes as well.

What powder you loading the 6.5 with? RL-15 with 140grn. I use RL -15 in my Bula 308 Thanks, In a bolt gun you do not have to worry about oprods.

I have been loading 35 gr of Varget under the 140 gr Berger hybrids for both my bolt and the 6.5 M14s.
RL-15 is right in the same burn rate area.
I have all sorts of powder in the shop so I will be doing plenty of experimenting.
I like most of my loads for the M14 to run around 2500 fps. My range only goes out to 300 so that is sufficient.
I do have access to a 1250 range a couple of miles away, but I will only play there when I get bored. At my age it doesn't seem that boredom is a problem any more. It's all good.

I will try the Varget and RL-15 . Have some of the Hornady 140 E.L.D.match bullets. Have heard the h4350 and Rl16 are good to go in bolt guns, but not for semi- M14 types,to slow burning for operating rods. Gonna try it in a Tikki ctr bolt gun. The 6.5 Creedmore is a slippery bullet with great flight and flat shooting, this is my first year using it. Less recoil for sure and very accurate. Thanks for your work with the 14 clones, always interesting!

Haven't shot either of the 6.5 M14s very much. They work fine and are way more accurate than equivalent .308.
This time of year I play more with my bolt rifles.
Another month when the ground is drier, I will get more into the semis in the prone.

Default M1a Loaded / Composite stock with SWFA 20 x 42 Mrad

Would love to share a pic of my rig, but haven't figured out how to do it yet.....being a Newbie and all..... uploaded an image to IMGUR ..... https://imgur.com/a/VzCH3Im

.... what I wanted to say is the 20x is a little too hard to gather target acquisition in the field. I have used a SWFA 3 - 15 x 42 on a friends Remington 700 LTR (.308) and loved it....wishing I had gone with the 10x instead.....
