Default 03A4 Clones

I have two 03A4 clones on my table here. One C stock. Keystone. Remington #41758xx. Engraved left side upside down U.S. Remington model 03-A3. Barrel is dated 2-44 R. Scope is Lyman Alaskan. Parkerized with serial no.. Parkerizing is green.

Other has scant stock I believe, Keystone. Same upside down engraving on left side of receiver. Serial no. 34413xx. Park is gray. Barrel is RA 2-43. Scope is Weaver 330 blued.
Rings on both are Redfield. Stocks are excellent. All parts Remington. MW less than 1 on both. What would you pay?

Sorry for any spelling. Am on my phone. Thanks... DrB...

Sounds like those are actual 1903A4 receivers. Without pictures its hard to tell. The would be at least worth what Creedmoor and James River get for theirs so somewhere in the $1200 ballpark.

Just my $0.02,

Tom

Nope these don't have Criterion barrels, have dated Remington. Stocks are not new manufacture Scopes are not repops. Receivers not from drill rifles. Just curious what folks think. Sorry can't post photos at this time am on vacation. Definitely not James River reproduction.

Same old story-no paper-worth is sum of the parts-which today can be more than you can get for complete rifle.

Do you mean someone faked the receiver markings?

No sorries necessary, the forum will help, but as stated above, detailed, good quality pics will defuse many of the bomb-throwers.

Remember, your just reading words, not seeing or hearing emotions.

You asked for a value, and I am trying to figure out what you have.

Posting photos would be the way to go.
