Default M1917 for sale

Can anybody tell me what’s special enough about this Eddystone to warrant a price tag of $3000 and 49 bids?

The high price is probably a few deep pocket people who want at any cost.
NOT for me and most riflemen.

Looked at the rifle. Read the description. Haven't a clue as to what makes this 17 so special. For the money, there are plenty of equal or better actually original rifles available that upon purchase would leave enough money left over to buy cases of ammo. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

Both of them have two of three so they need 592134 to make it a threesome.
