Default Scammer Alert (macteea12@gnail.com)

Attempted to purchase an M1 Garand M-2 Flash Hider here on the forum marketplace. Transaction date 12/2/2018. Showed legit pics and took my USPS MO, but has more excuses than not to send item or refund. Been told on another forum that this is potentially a scammer feeding on the CMP Forum now. Please beware. Info below:

Charlotte Crisp,
Address: 1110 Camden Rd.
Pasadena Texas, 77502
macteea12@gmail.com

Hopefully I can post this here to warn everyone. Not sure where else or how to notify people.

Did you post a WTB here? Do you have a screen name that was used?

Since you used a USPS money order file a police report along with your post office so the postal inspectors can investigation too.

Thanks for all the info and advice. Still can't believe we have scammers on this forum. Makes me sick to my stomach.

I had one 2 weeks ago saying they were a top seller on another sight.

I always send a PM to the person offering an item to make sure that is them selling.

My scammer wasn't very good in sending pictures or describing the rifle so it was easy to spot. I feel bad for the person they were saying they were.

Hard lesson learned. I will be extremely cautious next time.

Contact the Attorney Generals office of Texas Fraud. They will also send an investigator out. And contact the USPS inspectors.
