From a new poster but an old lurker,

If your Sig is anything like my 226, after 20+ years and over 10,000 rounds through my W. German one, I sent it back to Sig for their care package deal last year. When returned, the test target was shot at 15 yds with PMC 124gr ammunition. The best 3 measured .68 the worst I could measure many times and all 5 landed in just over one inch. I don't know if it was the 124gr bullet or PMC, but I know what I've been buying as I can.

Hope this is of some use and my thanks to all here for the info I get.

Nice data. It might come close to matching my Colt 9mm Carbine. Don't know how many rounds are down the pipe as it was a police officer's duty gun. For your accuracy tests, I would go for 50 yards or 100 yards. 100 is what I shoot mine at and it does well. So far, most brands of FMJ have fed it without problems but as you said, depending on your firearm YMMV.
