No pit duty required if they are using the electronic targets for this match.

Now I ask this because I was told that the targets need to be changed out each relay.. I have no clue if that is true or not...

Target faces have to be changed for 200, 300 and 600 yard phases....ad it takes a while. I am curious as to how they are going to run this match if they have 6-9 relays and how one might shoot both this match and the GSV. Good Shooting. ....

They cancelled it about halfway through 300. All the wires got yanked from the motherboards

The targets worked great at 200. Then, due to operator/planning errors, basically the system became useless and there was no backup plan. 90 competitors shot at 200, a handful shot at 300 and then the match was canceled. Competitors are supposed to get credit for a future match entry fee or a refund of the entry fee. Many traveled quite a distance for this match. This was a huge step backwards in confidence in the electronic targets systems.

CMP staff did communicate what was happening and explained the situation to competitors. They tried to make it work and keep the match going, but it was beyond repair.

Not a good day for CMP competitions department.

What about the GSV match that was advertised for the same day? Anyone have a report? Good Shooting. ..
