The only thing about this advertisement that I may believe factual is the manufacturer name to be original equipment. Made in U.S.A. is doubtful but I once heard a rumor that a city in china was renamed usa. W marked m14 mag production was done by Westinghouse, not Winchester and the difference is easy to find. True W mags have 4 welds on the lug. The fakes are sometimes but not always marked high and rarely hold a full 20rds. Lee Emerson's free m14 mag ID download is something to consider for anyone that truly wants to know how to find g.i. magazines.

Thanks, I have Lee Emerson's guide, but that only helps if you can view the product before purchasing. As previously stated, I am aware of forgeries, so want to know if anyone personally knew about this particular offer.
Fortunately, I was able to partake in the 44Mag closeout sales, and also one set of magazines from the DuPage offering. Just keeping my eye out for deals and offerings as they present themselves.

Yes, my wife has a custom Armalite AR-10T in 6.5CM and they function just fine in the mags.

Actually most my range mags were/are this way...…they worked and never bothered to refinish them.
Some times refinishing causes problems...……….
I would test my "New" mags, break them in, and put them back up.

Default Got 3 good ones

I was very pleased with one W, one KMT, and one UHC. Wish I had ordered 6. All in good used condition and strong springs. Was going to look for a few at the upcoming Jag Military Show next Saturday in Louisville. Doubt finding them at this price, but will keep an eye out. Scored a couple at Knob Creek last year, similar price. These three should work well in my Armscorp, all USGI parts rifle, and my Norinco.

Note: CMI was the last known military contract maker. (Circa 1990/1991.) This contract was reportedly done for the U.S. Navy for M14 deck rifles used during the Gulf War. According to Clint McKee of Fulton Armory, the quality of these magazines was not quite as good as from earlier contracts.

HR made by Harrington and Richardson---never seen but for 1 picture in a book
H-R made by Harrington and Richardson----same as above
HR-R made by Harrington and Richardson
KMT (A stylized logo with large K and the "M" and T" tucked in around the "K") made by Kileen Machine and Tool Company
M made by ? Possibly mis-marked magazines made by Winchester (inverted M???)---again never seen
OM made by Winchester (Back when it was part of Olin-Matheson.)
SA made by Springfield Armory (The original government arsenal, not the commercial firm that now uses the name.) These magazines are very scarce and command premium prices.---- again never seen outside of a picture in a book
TRW made by Thompson Ramo Woolridge-----again never seen outside of a picture in a book
UHC made by Union Hardware Company
W made by Winchester---is for Westinghouse not Winchester
WRA made by Winchester---never seen period, not even a picture in a book

Good site as well.

said book author admits he doesn't know where the pictures in his book came from, may have been photo shopped. All this info on the M14forum.

There is a town in Japan called Usa, which is probably the source of this story. See this blurb.
