Default 1917 Enfield screw size and thread pitch ?

Anyone know the screw size and pitch for the screw which holds the safety retainer on the receiver? I have a broken off one I need to remove and need the size and pitch to get it out.

I don't know the screw size and pitch, but I will point out that the screw is a British screw and will not likely be a standard U.S. size.

Could you buy a new one, then measure and compare to thread pitch gauge?

if its the safety locking bolt cover plate screw?
(reference pg 46-47 Vol 4 Pattern 1914 & US Model of 1917 - CR Stratton book)
0.39 - inch long by 0.12inch-diameter filister head screw that secures the locking bolt cover plate to the action body. The head of the screw is 0.18 inch in diameter and 0.12 inch thick. The m1917 safety-lock holder screw is identical to the p-14 cover plate screw, they are interchangeable.

referencing Ian Skennerton's .303 pattern 1914 rifle and Sniping Variants [S.A.I.S. No10] pg31, plate D2 part#22 - SCREW, .12" dia. x 48 T.P.I.
