Default 1903A4 Bolt - Real or decent fake?

I snagged this at a local gun show yesterday. It will be going on my drill rifle A4 clone. It may not be a real one, but it’s close enough. Opinions? [IMG] [/IMG]

Looks legit. Certainly good enough for a clone even if it's not.

If this does turn out to be real, you might be better off selling it and buying a reproduction for your clone. No need to have that valuable part on a non-valuable (relatively speaking) rifle.

I agree, but as sure as I do, Iíll run across a real A4 that lacks the proper bolt. (That is, if this one is truly legit) Just my luck.

Okay guys, I need to build this bolt up with the appropriate hardware. I have a bunch of odds and ends, I just need to know if anything was specific to the A4 bolt. I’m assuming it was all Remington hardware? Any help or advise will be highly appreciated.

All bolt internals were standard Remington parts.

I was going to offer this to 1903A4 restorers to complete one of their builds. Now it has come to my attention that this bolt may not be authentic. It will go back into my drill A4 clone, it’s close enough for me.
