Just sent in order for CMP WRA Special in .308. Not giving up hope for 1911 just afraid this variation of M1 would not be available for long.

There's a Marshall Lead 12 micro stack at a local shop that I keep eying. I don't need it, but I want it. If it were a Silver Jubilee it would have went home with me already.

I mostly got it for my WWI/WWII collection, not much of a revolver guy, I have a S&W 629 44mag and an old Ruger 3 screw in .30 carbine. I was just shooting at my 8" plate rack, and it seems plenty accurate at 25 yards. Might have to look for a 1917 Colt but it looks like they're going for about 3 times what I paid for the S&W.
