Default Vintage Multigun Run Dec 8th

Hey guys, I just created this site for the CMP Vintage Multigun Match Dec. 8th.
Pistol/rifle/shotgun. Bolt and semi-auto divisions. CMP should be supplying a garand to use on one stage and a 1911 to use on another stage. Walk or run the course - we don't care, just come run these old guns with us.

I shot this match at the D-Day match. It was a lot of fun. The RO's went out of there way to make it SAFE and fun. Don't feel nervous or intimidated....just dive in! They explain the COF as they walk you through it BEFORE it's your turn to shoot.

I saw guys run, I saw guys walk.....just doesn't matter. I did see 1 guy get DQ'ed because he broke the 180 line with his muzzle. He should had been DQ-ed and for everyone's safety he was.

Just have fun and be safe, that's really what it's all about anyway!

I can shoot a one hole/one shot group at any distance....."If I do my part"

Thanks Kieth. The coolest part for me was kicking down the trailer gate of the "landing craft" and seeing the variety of the old rifles filling the racks at the stages.

I shot it as well at D-Day and had a lot of fun.

That said, unfortunately I won’t be able to shoot it during the 600 because of scheduling. This is scheduled on Saturday, and the CMP has scheduled almost all the GSMM relays on that same day. Any 600 competitor that wants to shoot all four rifles (M1, Springfield, Vintage Military and Modern Military) has to shoot at least three of those on Saturday. That leaves no time to go down to Range 5 and participate in this event.

I had hoped for much better from the schedule. Sorry.
