Default 1898 Krags

Just picked these up at a auction a couple weeks ago. Probably one of my favorite rifles to shoot. Shot Roosevelt match last year, what a blast. If you don't own one I would definitely recommend getting one. Low recoil and not bad accuracy at 200yds.

Beautiful. Iíve been looking for a Krag myself. If you donít mind my asking, for purely self-serving reasons related to my own search, how much did you give for them?

Nice rifles, now you need a carbine to go with them!

I load 45gr. 4831 and use the 168gr. Hornady AMAX bullet. Nice easy load and it runs right. You must seat the bullet a little long, but that is about all that is different.

Beautiful rifles! Would love to see a data sheet. Any chance of a range report? Sincerely. bruce.
