For what it's worth, I've never seen a functional firearm on display in a military setting. They've always been de-mil'ed in some way (at least, that's what the tags say).

I see a lot of absolutely asinine stuff asked, that the person asking could easily find if they just took the time to read the website. And just the sales sections, at that.

The way I see it, there are 2000 rifles for approximately 6000 requests, which means a 33.33% chance of getting one. Could be a lot worse.

If this carbine release is an example of the CMP management going MIA then I would like them to go MIA more often. LOL. To be serious though I would rather have them working on getting rifles, carbine and hopefully pistols ready for sale and shipping than have them monitoring this forum for immediate answers to our questions. In short, they are doing a good job, thank them and leave them alone.
