Default $1500 RIA 1903 GB auction

Calfed's RIA 1903 in the other thread (nice RIA by the way) got me to check on recent gunbroker auctions, and I came across this one:

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=211038800

Is there something in particular about it that is valuable? What am I missing? That C stock is new manufacture, right?

Looks like 3 guys bidding it up past what I figured it would sell at.

Beats me ... it has some nice parts and is in good, but rebuilt condition. About double what I'd guess it's worth is. Either three guys who machissmo got in the way, three guys that had more money than common sense, or maybe a shill or two. Who knows?

In any case, the seller should be clicking his heels in joy tonight!! I know I would!
