The barrel is marked HS. No wear marks at all on the barrel. The mag looks like a new contract military msg. 19200-ASSY 5508694 MFR.1M291
Looks like it’s had one round through it. Everything is so tight on it I had trouble field stripping it. Guess all my other 45s are broke in.

It’s nice. I was at the Tulsa gun show last weekend. Lots of tables with 1911’s. Unbelievable the prices on nice WWII and WWI 45’s. I originally thought the CMP prices seemed high but after seeing gun show prices I believe the CMP has given many of us an opportunity to own a piece of history we otherwise might not afford

I can't find any arsenal rework markings on the frame. Just a FJ on the left side of the frame and a A 9 80 on the right side of the frame and to the right of the serial number. Not sure yet what the A 9 80 stands for yet.
