Thanks for the replys. I soaked the whole thing in WD-40. Then knocked the dirt out of the bore and scrubbed it a little bit just to look at it. There are a few spots in it but the rifling looks strong. I didn't spend much time on it. I'd say JimF is right on the stock becauce where the stock is cut it looks like it was done at the factory. The firing pin is missing so I guess this rifle hasn't been fired since 1945.

I'll give you eleven dollars for that ugly duckling, plus you pay for the shipping!!!!!!Wouldn't waist my time on it!!!!!I got one given to me last year that was all butchered up. Looked like a Bubba Custom Gun Shop Job!!! Sad thing about it was , it still had the Mum intact.A buddy of mine gave me $30 for it and then sold it at the Flea market to a guy for $60. We both made a $30 profit off of that piece of crap!!!!!

With that nice mum intact and original bolt and if the barrel is nice inside you got your money's worth then some.
