Just an update...Ordered a 30.06 chamber reamer from Dave Manson on Wednesday and it arrived today. This is the last piece of the puzzle.

Two recovered Drills headed for the range tomorrow. One from Dupage that I had Warpath D&T and one I built up from a recovered receiver I got from Glassmountains here in the forum. Both with new Criterion barrels. First round for the A4 clone tomorrow. The A3 has 41 rounds through the tube and is just starting to show slightly less copper. Would be happy to post pics but I don't play third party hosting.

Please give us a range report when done. I am sure we are all curious as to how they will do!

Lemme know how that reamer works out. I'm debating whether to buy or rent one.

Nice relaxing range time today. IAW our SOP I am on the 25/50 yd range until I can confirm POI. A4 clone took one adjustment in windage and one in elevation to make a fat hole with 4 of the 5 rounds fired. Cleaned with #9 then KG12 between each shot. Tightened action screws to 45IP and ready to go again next weekend. The A3 is an action that I had in a scant stock the A4 now occupies so I haven't done any serious inletting yet. Now in the refinished straight stock that came with the Dupage Drill, I had it shooting pretty well @ 100yds before switching stocks so now I start all over. Total of 52 rounds on that one and still coppering a bit. Fun stuff though and truth be known it took over 2 hours to fire a total of 10 rounds so there may have been just a little BS time in there.

Glad to know they are all working like they should. It sounds like they are pretty dead on. I am still waiting for mine

Default Grade 2 1903a3 drill rifles

Seems Dupage has a Grade 2 option up now. Anyone think the $100 rifle is worth the reactivation on these?
