Default Smith Corona 1903a3

There's a 1903a3 for sale at my LGS. It's a Smith Corona, not sporterized, but it's got some funny things on it. The bolt is in the blue but the safety lever is parkerized. The barrel band is also parked. Could those parts be original? The gun looks great other than that. It's got a good bore, 4 groove. What would be a reasonable price for it? I'd like to add this one to my collection of US military guns.

Edit:. I bought the rifle, here are some pictures. https://imgur.com/a/lVkic
It came with an extra stock and I'd like some comments on originality. Thanks

I'm very far from an expert, but without pics, it could be something from $500 to $1,500. Post some pics and the experts here will tell you.

I am hardly a 1903 or 1903A3 expert, but yes, I do think the Smith Coronas had blued bolt bodies and parked safety levers. Post the partial serial number and barrel date and probably some experts will chime in.

I think the SC bolt bodies has an X in the top of the handle...

That is a very good price. I got mine for $550 and thought I did well.

At that price it's worth a shot, as long as it is not a recovered drill rifle. Even then....

The price is excellent. Ten years ago I paid $600 for my SC at a gunshow.
