Question

How are you rigging your sling in slow prone? That could be the whole problem. Hasty, Ray Vin?

Which is fine. Either way is fine. I'm unsure why the question was even asked? Neither way is going to cause flyers.

I gotta go with anticipating recoil like stated previously ... its very common.. also some have the tendency to look out of the sights just before the trigger pull .. No peeking!

Much good advise has been provided.
As stated: Shots on call? Try a dry fire or two during the string to reaffirm. Just let your scorer know in advance.
One thing my optometrist ( a shooter) suggested when I was having some off call shots. Dry eyes. And yelp he was correct. A couple of drops that morning and before 600. 600 was my real problem area.
Systance eye drops.
Good luck and good shooting.
Vic

Default Shooting Coach Watching Closely? ...

Do you have a shooting coach who can closely watch your prone shooting? Can he video tape it? How bad does it hurt? Sometimes we make little extra movements shooting prone because it hurts our old backs staying prone so much. Sometimes this can throw off the shot. Just old me.

Coffee affects me. Also cold days.

all good things to consider HB of CJ I don't have a shooting coach but I'll see if I can get someone to watch me sometime, doing a few dry fires during the string is something I will try too, to everyone who sent advice THANKS hopefully I'll get this thing figured out
