I'm puzzled why the Frankford Arsenal cartridge doesn't have a date on it.

Would that indicate it being prior to the great ammo controversy of 1928? I've got quite an array of specialty brass and it looks like 29 on up are date stamped.

Default National Match cartridges

I could be wrong but it is my understanding that these were loaded to be fired at certain distances:

FA International and Palma used at 800, 900 and 1000 yards

REM-UMC used at 300 yards

Randy, I have a PETERS 1928 cartridge
